State heart pendant necklace features a brushed brass heart shaped pendant and is customizable in all 50 states and over 40 colors of our high quality genuine leather. State and heart charms are made of brushed brass and sealed to prevent tarnish. Leather is permanently fixed to the brass heart using an adhesive lamination process. I love using the combination of leather and brass in this piece. It makes me think of the warmth of home or being wrapped in a hug and reminds you to-remember where you came from, best wishes on your next great adventure or always remember the memories we made together.

***PLEASE NOTE: Due to the leather balm used to seal the leather, your piece may arrive a bit darker than shown in the swatch, this is especially noticeable in the already dark colors such as amethyst, sapphire and emerald. This will lighten with wear over time as the oils/waxes wear. Please keep this in mind when placing your order.
***MICHIGAN NECKLACES ARE AN ADDITIONAL $4.50 more than the rest of the states. We do apologize for this, however the alternate for the Michigan charm has the UP attached and does not resemble the iconic Michigan mitten. In order to offer a Michigan option we work with a local metalsmith who hand cuts this state for us.
***PLEASE NOTE: We like to showcase the uniqueness of each hide and the incorporation of the raw edge of the leather is a purposeful design decision. This "fray" occurs naturally on the edge of the hide creating interesting textural and color variations. It does not decrease the stability of the edge of the hide and will not continue to "fray".
***ALL OF MY ITEMS ARE HANDMADE TO ORDER by me and a couple of amazing part-time assistants in my little studio in Milwaukee, WI. I ask that customers allow 1-2 weeks for completion of your order. That being said if you are looking to order an item that is needed sooner for a gift or special occasion please leave a note during checkout indicating the DATE it is needed on your doorstep by. I'm typically able to work an item into the schedule sooner if I'm aware that there is a need for it. You are always welcome to send me a convo inquiring about turn around time too! :)
